Your child will start by tracing words with thick letters on a colored background, then advance to tracing words on a white background, and eventually progress to tracing very faint dotted lines. Your child will be able to learn at his or her own pace, and build a strong foundation for future cursive writing.
Eventually, your child will write the first word of a sentence. By reading these complete sentences, your child will become more familiar with reading cursive writing.
