= About this Book =
This book gives you child the opportunity to develop basic pencil-control skills and learn the shapes of the uppercase letters of the alphabet. It will help your child develop the ability to use a pencil easily by practicing first with easy-to-write letters, like the letter L, then gradually progressing to more difficult letters, like the letter A.

The exercise in this book are mainly tracing alphabet letters. Your child will be able to learn naturally the shapes and concepts of writing them again and again.

Your child will start with tracing thicker letters on a colored background then move to tracing letters which are dotted lines on a white background, and eventually progress to tracing requiring more developed fine-motor skills. Your child will be able to learn naturally the shapes and concepts of letters by writing letters again and again.

The pages illustrate familiar words and pictures appropriate for the letters. As your child learns the letters, he or she will also become aware that each letter can become part of a word.
